- The Operator is the Controller of your personal data with regard to data provided voluntarily on the Website.
- The Website uses personal data for the following purposes:
- Preparation, packaging and shipment of goods
- Online chat communication
- Handling enquiries via the contact form
- Presentation of offers or information
- The Website collects information about users and their behaviour in the following ways:
- Through data voluntarily entered in forms, which is then entered into the Operator’s systems.
- By saving cookie files on end devices (so-called “cookies”).
2. Selected data protection methods used by the Operator
- Login pages and forms for entering personal data are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data and login credentials entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the destination server.
- User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hashing function works one-way — it is not possible to reverse it, which is the current standard for storing user passwords.
- To minimise the risk of unauthorised access to data, the Operator uses complex passwords containing lower- and upper-case letters, digits and special characters, with a minimum length of 8 characters.
- An essential element of data protection is regular updates of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, in particular regular updates of programming components.
- To protect data, the Operator regularly performs backups.
3. Hosting
- The Website is hosted (technically maintained) on the operator’s server: mydevil.net
- For technical reliability, the hosting company maintains server-level logs. The following may be recorded:
- resources identified by URL (addresses of requested resources — pages, files),
- request arrival time,
- response sending time,
- client station name — identification carried out by the HTTP protocol,
- information about errors that occurred during the HTTP transaction,
- URL of the page previously visited by the user (referrer link) — when the visit to the Website resulted from a link,
- information about the user’s browser,
- information about the IP address,
- diagnostic information related to the self-service ordering process via on-site registries,
- information related to the handling of email correspondence directed to and sent by the Operator.
4. Your rights and additional information about how data is used
- In some situations, the Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients, if it is necessary to perform a contract concluded with you or to fulfil obligations imposed on the Controller. This applies to the following groups of recipients:

- access to your personal data,
- rectification thereof,
- erasure,
- restriction of processing,
- and data portability.
- You have the right to object to the processing referred to in point 3.3 c) regarding the processing of personal data for the purpose of pursuing the legitimate interests of the Controller, including profiling, except that the right to object cannot be exercised where there are valid legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
- You may file a complaint regarding the Controller’s actions with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
- Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to operate the Website.

5. Information in forms
- The Website collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if provided.
- The Website may record connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).
- In some cases, the Website may store information that makes it easier to associate form data with the email address of the user filling in the form. In such case, the user’s email address appears within the URL of the page containing the form.
- Data provided in the form is processed for purposes resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g. handling a service request or commercial contact, service registration, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly informs about its purpose.
6. Administrator logs
- Information about user behaviour on the website may be logged. This data is used for the purpose of administering the website.
7. Significant marketing techniques
- The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc., based in the USA). The Operator does not transfer personal data to the operator of this service, only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. Regarding information about user preferences collected by Google’s advertising network, the user can review and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
- The Operator uses the Facebook Pixel. This technology causes the Facebook service (Facebook Inc., based in the USA) to know that a person registered there is using the Website. It is based in this case on data of which Facebook itself is the controller; the Operator does not transfer any additional personal data to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.
- The Operator uses remarketing techniques, allowing advertising messages to be matched to user behaviour on the website, which may give the impression that the user’s personal data is used to track them; in practice, however, no personal data is transferred from the Operator to the advertising operators. The technological prerequisite for such activities is enabled cookie support.
- The Operator uses a solution that examines user behaviour by creating heatmaps and recording behaviour on the site. This information is anonymised before being sent to the service operator, so they do not know which natural person it concerns. In particular, entered passwords and other personal data are not recorded.
- The Operator uses a solution that automates the operation of the Website with respect to users, e.g. it may send an email to the user after visiting a specific subpage, provided that the user has consented to receive commercial correspondence from the Operator.
8. Information about cookies
- The Website uses cookies.
- Cookies (so-called “cookies”) are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the Website’s User and intended for use of the Website’s web pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, their storage time on the end device and a unique number.
- The entity that places cookies on the end device of the Website’s User and accesses them is the Website’s operator.
- Cookies are used for the following purposes:
- maintaining the user session of the Website (after login), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter the login and password on every subpage of the Website;
- fulfilling the purposes set out above in the section “Significant marketing techniques”;
- The Website uses two main types of cookies: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. “Session” cookies are temporary files stored on the User’s end device until logout, leaving the website or closing the software (web browser). “Persistent” cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.
- Software for browsing websites (web browser) usually allows the storage of cookies on the User’s end device by default. Users of the Website can change these settings. The web browser allows cookies to be deleted. It is also possible to automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this subject is contained in the help or documentation of the web browser.
- Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the websites of the Website.
- Cookies placed on the end device of the Website’s User may also be used by entities cooperating with the Website’s operator, in particular: Google (Google Inc., based in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc., based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc., based in the USA).
